| Custom What?  |  PCApex representing at CES 2007 Day 1  Here we are at day one of the worlds largest electronic trade show. PCApex starts off with a meeting with ECS. I have a couple of teaser shots for you before GlitterKillÂ’s full article. I tell you, ECS has the makings to be the next Cinderella story, of course only time will tell.  Next was Sapphire, which was very convenient for us since they were in the same hotel as ECS. Allot of new products hitting the shelves in FebruaryÂ….only if all goes well. RD is working hard on this.  After the meetings with the ECS and Sapphire I hit the floor with godfoot and Twizted. Ma-Labs and Patriot had a very strong showing on the floor. In case you didnÂ’t know, Ma-Labs manufacture Super-Talent memory. Not just desktop memory thumb drives, flash memory, and what caught my eye was a 16 gig solid state IDE laptop HDD. Can we say goodbye to shutdown and boot times?!  To finish off the evening we went to the OCZ Overclockerfest party at the Bellagio. A huge thanks go to OCZ for a nice finish to a long day. | Da' Jersey Kid  | Re: PCApex representing at CES 2007 Day 1 My father used to work as a salesman for Maxell, but when they started out sourcing he got laid off and went right to working at one of the sales groups that took over his department. He's regularly attended CES every year where companies he reps introduce their new products (Maxell, Fellows, Speck...) Apparently last year his boss brought his (college age) son and friends along with him, so my father is going to see about if I could go next year! I can't wait!! Any chance I could tag along with some of the big dogs with PCA who will be going again next year?? | |

We were sitting in the lobby bar at the Mirage in that picture. Smoking is apparently only allowed in the casinos and in bars that do not serve food. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||
