Now lets hope they can make a PSU that can handle their rated load. Quad SLI looks sick though.....that things gotta be over 700watts.

730 watts continous, 780 peak...

Not modular in the sense of being able to disconnect all the cables from it. It is using shorter cable runs for the molex connections with just one molex at the end of each. Then they have added to it, thise exTender cables that have different connector combinations on it.

As far as the guantlet being thrown down, lets just from what I could discern, this PSU looks to be almost on par with PC P&C but for a fist full of dollars less.

I'm in the market for a larger power supply, and hopefully this one will be it.

EDIT: Newegg has 'em for $150.

Is the Hiper where you connect the cables to the bottom of the PSU? If so, I've no time for it.

Or wait for the Enermax INFINITI's, which will be compatible with all the stupid new DX10 video card connectors.

There's two different versions of this power supply, one modular and one non-modular.
