Do to some concerns with our current members with some newer members jumpin right into the Tradin Post, I have agreed to add a new rule.

Rule 13: Due to the spamming of the forums there is now a 50 post minimum to put your gear up in the traden post. This goes for people looking to byu as well, if you post lookin for gear your post will be deleted. If you are buying in someone elses thread, the trust is up to the buyer/seller.

All other rules are still in effect, if I find anyone with lower than 50 posts I will delete the thread.

Thanks to $SOLID$ Necro and DigitalWorld for there input. I hope this keeps the Traden Post more honest.

Well, that may deter some of them, but I'll bet a lot of them are already signed up for gay porn. Sign them up for religious spam.

Sweet I can still spam this forum with my crap for sale. Glad to see you guy finally got some kinda trader rule. I know XtremeSystems.org doesnt even let you see the For Sale/Wanted/Trade forums until you have 100 posts.

I wonder if it would be overkill to make it mandatory to supply trader rep from elsewhere if you have none here. We used to have that rule......but it was wiped out awhile back. Possibilities?

you've got to start some where.

i would leave it as is.... just put a note that ppl with other sources of trader rep will sell things quicker

how exactly do you figure the 50 posts? because I have over 1000 posts, and right now I cannot post a FS thread that I just spent a lot of time making, as in when I submit and go back to the Trading Post it simply isn't there

do you actually approve new threads or how does it work?

this sucks and it's late which just makes me more frustrated. grr

Trading post threads are moderated before being put up to weed out both spam and for making sure the posts follow the Trading Post rules. It applies to new and old folk alike.

Yay for the rule... But correct me if I'm wrong, but back in the day wasnt there a rule already like that?
