All data from the old GameApex.com forums have been imported into the main ForumApex database. ALSO, there are MANY new cool features for you guys to check out while I get everything back in it's place. The forum and gallery should be operational now. I will be spending this weekend ironing out any kinks from the script upgrades and applying the old look we are used to for forum posts.

Talk about a hectic week! The reason the updates took so long is because I ran into numerous crashed database tables that needed to be repaired. After that was settled I then had to manually associate all users at GameApex.com who ever posted in the forum with the same user here at the new ForumApex setup. It was ALOT of work. My wife freakin' rocks for putting up with my stressing out while the forums were locked down. She also put up with me spending pretty much all my spare time this week while I worked on getting everything fixed.

I'm glad it's back up!
I can't even imagine how big those data bases are, 140,000 something threads, close to 700,000 post and almost 16000 members.....

Linking problems

Example: I clicked on thread labeled "Today is a good day", last post by Slay. Took me to a gaming server thread.

Also, the iTrader function/feature is currently down... I have a Trading Post transaction with post_break that needs to be closed out/rep given...

I have a suggestion. The forums such as "Anything goes" and the trading section are at the very bottom. Maybe Im alone when I say this but any chance of a "go to the bottom link" or maybe move them up above the game apex stuff? Glad that its back online though, sucked cause I couldnt talk to GN about a trade going down.

I just saw that Lokie is a supreme badass of the universe with his awesome gold stars. I don't know if he is supposed to have both the gold stars and the regular rep squares or what?

Yeah I noticed the Rep icons had changed and I found out the new max is a whooping 500,000. Couple of new comments too, like the badass one.

I will move this post to the PC Apex Bugs & Worklog 2008 thread. This thread was to update the members of what had went down for the update proccess. Unfortunatly some posts were lost, and I don't know if they can be recover'd from the merge of the two forums.

Where are the "Find all posts/threads started by xxx" that used to be in a users profile?

View the persons profile then hit the statistics tab. All the posting info is there.
