...someone PLEASE explain to me how the F.U.C.K that that thing works, and what kind of interface that thing uses...is it some kind of daughterboard that plugs into a bigger mobo that has all the slots and whatnot? it sure dont look like a PCI, is it that new interface standard everyone is talkin about? EDIT: btw, a P4 wont werk in that, that board is a socket 370 and will work with P3's, fcpga celerons and solar powered flashlights...

It looks like a 64 bit PCI where you need a daughter board to connect extra cards (if needed) and it also has a PC104 connector Ill get you some pics....

| Heres a 586 133MHz bisquit board with onboard Gfx, DiskOnChip and without Sound and at the top a PCMCIA drive which plugs into the PC104 bus you can see the pins coming out of it and on the other side theres a female connector just like the one on the bisquit board so its possible to "pancake" more cards on top of it![]() Im thinking about buying 2 Net cards and building a tiny firewall ![]() | ||

| If they drop those ISA slots for AGP, then we can work a deal, until then I will have to hold out for a decent price on the FS51 or if they ever hit the shelves, the FX41 both from Shuttle. These are Flex-ATX mobos with AGP slots and will go in a ground-up case build. I have just too many ideas waiting on hold, in fact, more then I can use in a single project. | ||

BTW It's a computer not a server. All servers are computers, but not all computers are servers.
