Well, I made a major goof when registering for PDX Lan. PDX Lan was the first lanparty that I was going to show off the PR Tribute PC at. With 500 attendees is was a good place for a first showing. Well, I was under the impression that I was registering for a lanparty in Indianapolis when I later found out it was actually in Oregon (PDX Lan 10). Needless to say, that is a nice chunk of road from Nashville, TN. Once I found out my mistake I sold my PDX Lan ticket (sorry to the PC Apex crew still going) and registered for Showdown Lan for Spetember 14th to 16th. It has a max seating of 500 as well and is run by the same PDX crew (the source of my confusion) so it will be just as good.

I hope to see some of you all there! It's pretty much located in the center of the U.S. so I am hoping to see some of you guys there!

BTW, I am in seat 17 M if you want all of us to try to sit near one another.

Note: Just for showing up to the next Showdown Lan you will get a free copy of Medal of Honor: Airborne as well as a copy of your choice between Supreme Commander and Company of Heroes! That's at least $80 worth in free games just for registering for a $40 lanparty!

PS: This just shows you how awesome my wife Tonya (aka FroggieGirl) is... September 16th is her birthday and she is still totally cool with me going! Which means I won't be with her on her birthday. We are going to celebrate before I go to the lan on the 14th.

Oh Geeze, a five hour drive all the way to Indiana from Cleveland...

Really tempted, but cash is already tight enough...

Maybe next year, or something in Ohio.

Master Yunk, I also am planning on attending Lanwar in October in KY. That may be close enough for ya? (Not concrete, yet... still planning on.)
