This is an open-ended offer to those graphic designers out there looking to sharpen their skills while getting a little something back for it. If you create a banner and I use it on the PC Apex Linkage page, I will give you a 6 month PC Apex Elite Subscription. If it is a flash banner, I will throw in at least $20 towards PC Apex Gear in addition.

I will let you know in this thread and by PM which banners I will use. I will also give feedback for submitted banners to give you guys better ideas of what I am looking for. It doesn't have to be extremely detailed/intricate... I am looking more for humor and stuff that represents what we do... modding, reviews, great gallery, great forums, blogs (which members can use to make a little cash), etc. Here is a list of banner sizes I am looking for, in order of preference, as well as the file size to stay within for each.

468x60 - 40kb or less

125x125 - 30kb or less

88x31 - 10kb or less

728x90 - 60kb or less

250x250 - 50kb or less

I look forward to seeing what you come up with! I have attached some resource files to this thread for your use including the PC Apex logo and the recent PR Tribute PC photos from mnpctech (which I would like to see included some if possible).

It looks nice, but I would change the ending by not making it loop all the way from it's begining, make it loop from where it is already open and not black, so it would not look like it is starting all over again, but as if it was going forever. That's just my opinion.

it does not loop from the begining
i put an action script on frame 210 that detects your browser
and from there it should loop back to frame 300 ...
if you open the SWF directly (with the flash player)
it wont play properly, thats why it loops back to the begining

i used an action script similar to the one i put in when i did this website Yves Saint Laurent

Oh ok, I see, it does work, but I don't really like the part where the .com always apears and disappers. Maybe you could tweek that somehow, but that's just my opinion.

Alright here is my attempt, I didnt want to clutter it up to much so I went with a simplistic but functional approach.

I did all the sizes listed except for the really tiny one which was hard to work with because all you really can put there is the logo and the size that T2 did his in as what he did would have been what I did as well lol =p

I attached all of them except for the 250x250 as it exceeded your file size limit so I uploaded it to my FTP.

I did add any addition text to them so that you can put whatever you would like if any and I also went a head and saved them as PNG.

OK, shrink the logo a bit... notice how the shadow from the logo gets cut off at the bottom? It stands out like a sore thumb.

BTW, all the banners don't HAVE to use the pics attached. They were just some that I liked plus the necessary logo.
