| Apex Techie II | I believe that you can enter as many times as you want, since they want as many entries as possible, so they could pick the winners. Good luck! What do you think about mine. I like it a lot, but I am concurned that not many people would like it. | |

I don't see any problem with this "ruse" at all. The winning banner artist gets "reimbursed" for their work in the form of $500 worth of merchandise. It's each artist's prerogative whether they want to invest their time and talent, or not. Nobody is being "duped" or forced into investing their time and efforts, are they? Personally, whenever I enter any kind of contest, I fully expect NOT to win, just by reason of the odds of winning being (usually) miniscule. If I win, cool! That's gravy. Do you watch American Idol? That's pretty much the same thing, IMO. A company (in this case a TV program) holds a contest, gets a bunch of 'artists' (?) (heh) to contribute their talents in the contest, and the winner gets a sum of money or a prize. In the meantime, the company (TV program producers) make a lot of money from the exposure, advertising, etc. Is that any different? | Apex Techie II | I like it. The only thing I don't like is that it is blinking everywhere, and it kind of hurts my eyes, or it is hard to read both sides at the same time, while on the left side there is a blinking text running to the side. Other than that it is awsome. What did you think of mine? Do you think there could be an improvement somewhere? | |

| @peti1212 you did a nice work sir. but my side comment is that the file of your swf is too large. lots of images? better to vector others. ![]() my previous work, i know theres lot of blinking text. and i hate it also. now i made some changes for it. and i think this will be kept as simple as sharp like what sir GlitterKill said. ![]() hope to still get your feedback/s on my work. thank you in advance! ![]() | ||

| Apex Techie II | JC, I must say that this verions is much better, at least I think. Good job. Man, it would be so nice to win this $500 Gift Card to FrozenCPU.com. Currently I am running two Geforce 7900GTs and it is overheating like as if it would be in the sahara. While playing my GPU1 goes up to 110C and my other one goes up to about 89C. Now that is hot. Has anybody heard of something like this before. I confirmed these temperatures with other programs as well. In idle mote it runs at 65C or about 70C after gaming. I checked for dust, but it is competelly clean, and everything else that could cause the problem, like the mobo chip heatsink and the CPU fan blowing the hot air at the GPU but no, even when I block off the hot air, I am still getting way to hot temperatures. There has to be something wrong. Now if I would win this 500 dollars, then I would completelly change all the coolers in my case and all of the hardware on my computer.
