Compromising your credibility

When you and I read hardware reviews we all expect that the author has made an attempt to remain subjective and give the product a "fair shake". But what do you make of a review that appears biased. Here is a review of the new AMD XP2400+ and 2700+ processors and the Oct 9th post of what another guy thought of it.

Please read the review first in it's entirety, just to be fair, and make up your own mind. You don't need me for that. And then checkout the second link.

And when you're done, be thankfull for guys like DW, and GK, and others, both here and elsewhere, who play it straight.

Ic... I wrote six pages of review (short pages, but still 6 pages) for the Koolance PC2-C... this guy bored the hell out of me in under 2 pages.

Also, they do seem pretty excited about a lowly 20 Mhz... if they're gonna brag about OCing, they should have bought a friggin' overclocking kit!
