Default Swiftech is busting out the Big Guns

Swiftech has just rolled out some new products and if you didn't know this already, money spent in their direction is not waisted.

The first new entry is targeted right at you guys that want better then air, but don't like water.
The MCX-462+T is an air-cooled HSF with a 226watt TEC and intended for use with a 60 - 80 CFM fan. This unit will not be quiet, but it will cool like crazy.

The second is a real piece of work, the MCW4000 is not for the faint of heart or light of pocket. This unit is essentially a copper "T" plate sandwiched between two MCW462UT 226watt TEC units, the blocks with 1/2" hose barbs.
The unit is capable of dealing with a 150 watt 1"x1" heat source to ambient temperature (at 24°C coolant temperature).

my next rig is gonna be a dual xeon rig 3 ghz+ (6ghz woot!) as soon as the e7505 chipset is released (533 mhz fsb and the cpus once they are released are rumored to have a 1meg l2 cache) that waterblock is going on each socket for sure!

I hope you have very deep pockets.

That's $300 each for the blocks, plus the rest of the gear, say $150 for 1/2" pump, radiator, etc. The you need about one or more dedicated PSUs for the TECs, say $250+.

That's about $1,000 in cooling gear. But I would like to see the pics

Dude are you serious!?

If so you had better go all out on that rig. Maybe a 40gb SCSI RAID array (which would run you around $650) a gigabyte of RDRAM, and an N30 :-)
