Well, I was reminded in our staff meeting last night that Quake Wars is coming out today. I had totally forgotten about it and forgot to tuck a little cash away for the game for when it came out. I'm a little tight on the funds since Tonya and I are getting some dental work done lately (fun fun...) so there isn't any budget room for the new game right now WHICH SUCKS! I have been waiting on this game for a while. The stupid release date snuck up on me!

So, to raise the cash to go get the game I am lowering the PC Apex Elite Subscription to only $5 for the next 10 people who subscribe. That's 6 months for $5. To remind you, subscribing doubles your gallery space, private message space and removes all ads in the Gallery and Forum! Did I mention that I am working on removing ALL site ads across ALL pages for subscribers? Just a little coding needs to be figured out and I am half way there already.

Hey GK you mentioned Quake Wars i was at Best Buy today and apparently there not getting the game till next month, they would not give me a definite date on it's arrival, there website says the 7/17/2007 on it's arrival date, the only thing they had was a a box for pre ordering the game. i also check a couple other places and they said the same thing it will not be in till the 7/17/07.

Darn'nt i was so mad iwanted to get this game and try it out...

HAHAHAHA I am now WAY paid up for a while

Yes i was surprised my self this is what there website says link.

If you bought the prerelease it shipped last night for delivery today. Since I didn't, it should be in the EBGames store today.

Definitely not going to be out for at least a month. The word on release dates from the official site is that anything you read is merely speculation, and nothing is set in stone. It's "done when it's done."

There's a whole load of threads in the official forums complaining about a lack of transparency from the developers, and it hacks me off cos Reza got me a pre-order of it for my birthday
