FrozenCPU has kindly agreed to sponsor a monthly giveaway here at PC Apex. On the last day of each month, the best pic submitted to the PC Apex Gallery for that month (according to what I am looking for; info below) will be chosen as the winner and will receive at least a $30 FrozenCPU Gift Certificate , a $20 PC Apex Gear Gift Certificate and a PC Apex Elite Membership. There is the possibility for other nice goodies to be added on a month to month basis. We'll see what shakes loose. The runner-up will receive a PC Apex Elite Membership.


What am I looking for? Something with a "wow" factor of some sort. An impressive mod project money shot. A REALLY funny PC/geek - related picture. Or maybe your own slick PC Apex wallpaper. The pic must be YOURS and not one you have ripped off from someone else. We have a large community with a keen eye so don't try to con us; it won't work. That's what I am looking for.

The top 5 pics will be selected and posted for PC Apex members to vote on. Winners will be notified via PM and Email and the winning pic will be listed as the "Featured Pic" for the following month until the next winner is chosen.

Great contest idea! Maybe *finally*, this will motivate our "worklog only" members to actually post their projects in the galleries, where they belong, and where the public can easily view them.

I'm not sure what the what's going on with all the case projects and worklogs I see happening in the forums, yet almost none of them end up in the gallery...is it a lack of cojones? Fear of criticism? Laziness? Broken digicam'itis?
