Great review, great case, but there is something quite noticable...and that would be it has a very similar design to the Lian-Li cases on the inside. Not that it's a problem, it just isn't an original design.

DuckWarrior that was a good review and a nice work on the mods. You summed it up when you said that this case makes it easy for people who don't want to mod but yet want a "cool" case.

I would never waste $145 on a case like that. But I am sure this will be a success at Xoxide for those who wannabee "cool" and have fat checking accounts.

Kage, that's what went through my mind too. For the price, I think I would get a Lian Li PC68 to mod to go with my soon to be modded PC70

Seriously, this is the case is for someone that wants style but can have low or no skillz. Not everyone has the tools or the place to do cutting and physical modding. Isnt that understandable?
Having said that I love this case!
It screams "Style" and the minor mods done to the case was a breeze to make it unique.
I'm having fun with it as my main rig right now.

Here's a question, for you all,
I had decided to take a bit more time in the article as I thought this case deserved the attention.
Did you
one: think it was thorough and just fine in length
two: think it was too long...or
three: Huh? what article?

EDIT:
The reason I ask Is I see reviews from other sites where they go something like "here it is, this is the pix from thier catalog...its great" and thats it.
I see a case review without anything on the inside and big whoopdee doo I can get that info from whomever is selling it, I wanna see what it looks like with lights and drives installed.
Otherwise whats the point.
Then theres the guy that starts a point and then...nothing, it just drops off. Hate that. So I made sure my points were complete as well as had the full content to hit all points
I just didnt want to bore anyone.

You did a great job Duck, I like how you do you reviews where you show the case as it is and then go on and show what it could look like. You covered all the bases and then some.

I also agree with #1, it was a very good review with alot of nice pictures and was perfect in length. The only way a review can be too long is if something is reinstated more than 3 times.

The best way to know if I am reaching the reader is to ask the hard questions.
So on that note,
Is there something you would have liked to see that I missed?
Or maybe you might have done?
I can take criticism if its done respectfully.

Thank you Feral, I really cant stand to see a case review without something on the inside. It would be like buying a car without the paint and not even sitting in it.

Duck, great review! It is the standard which all case reviews should follow. Plenty of info and pics.

In fact you sold me on it. I just bought a case last night that is the same as the one you reviewed, but with a small change in the bezel and not having the Kingwin name. It only has acrylic surrounding the drives, the rest is aluminum. Very sweet.

Although I have to admit, I did not buy it from Xoxide as it was quite pricey. I bought it from another Pimprig sponsor: Directron. There it was available for a much more reasonable price.

BTW, I made sure to mention Pimprig as the source for my buying decision.

This case is a great purchase if ,if you can find one!! If not ,try the SUPER FLOWER SF-201T3 .It's same same. Be aware if front plexiglass is removed the power button may fall out! I have both cases and I need to replace or mickeymouse a power button. Any ideas? looked eveywhere i know and zero results.
