Exclamation Aurora 350W PSU Review

FeRaL has written a nice review on what looks like one helluva nice PSU. Ever seen a PSU with a 120mm LED fan in it? You have now...

Check it out here.

that would look so good in an acrylic case.... heck I think it would look good in any case with a window for that matter.

Great review on a great product.

OK, I have a question. Wouldn't it be better if they DID put an exhaust fan on? From the looks of it all the air from the fan would go up and then just be pushed away by more air, then slowly making it's way out the back. An exhaust would pull that air off the components quickly which would increase cooling alot.

Kage, as far as adding a fan to the back of the PSU, I would have to say it is completely unnecessary. When I set the speed of the fan to where it was barely audible with it sitting on my desk infront of my it was kicking out a good amount of air out of the back. I left it at the setting for the test in the review and at the end of the test the air coming out the PSU was barely warmer than ambient, maybe a degree or two F above ambient.

EDIT: Also, with the 120MM fan turned up all the way, it was still the quietest fan in my case...

Thanks for the insightful review...I had seen it @ newegg and wasn't totally convinced...After reading the review, I comfortably ordered it, along with some silver mylar wire casing and baby blue heatshrink...Tankx again bro!

Sweet, the silver mylar cable mesh will look good with the PSU case.

I'de like to thank all you guys for your feedback to my review. It's pretty important to me know know that others are getting some usefull info from the work. Also, it's nice to know if there is anything that I didn't cover in the review that you have questions about.
