Default Corsair Flash Voyager 1GB USB Drive

BigAkita has a new review up on a nice 1GB (and apparently nigh invulnerable - makes me think of The Tick ) USB drive from Corsair named the Flash Voyager.

Check it out here.

Nice drive! That was the drive that imo was the only competitor for the OCZ Rally drive that i bought. I had almost boughten the Voyager, but due to lack of reviews at the time i went with the Rally from OCZ. Its too bad that you couldnt have compared it to the OCZ Rally drive, I wouldve liked to seen the difference.

Nice writeup man.

Great review BA! Thanks!
I did pick up one of these a while ago during a sale. Your review is very accurate right down to the lint issue on the rubber coating........
But don't let a little lint discouarge you from buying this great drive! I ended up being quite rough with it and never had a problem. I recommend it highly.

Excellent choice to review the thumbdrive BA. While not everyone can afford to buy top of the line RAM, which Corsair certainly produces, most of us can afford a thumbdrive...especially one that appears to perform so well! I must confess, I recently purchased a Ritek 512MB solely for the design that has no cap to lose. If I wasn't so hung up on that design feature, I'd definitely be looking to Corsair's offerings.

Thumbdrives are one of those things that once you have it, you can't live without.

This one being a good product does not surprise me since I am a Corsair fan!

This drive has been banging around in my pockets with keys, sundries, and doo-dads for almost two months now. It has held up without a single nick in the coating. I've really gotten spoiled with being able to carry around 1GB of info with me as opposed to 512MB. I guess pretty soon I'll be needing one of their 4GB offerings.

Ive had mine for about 6+ months or so and my cap is still as tight as the day it was new. As to the above poster, I bet any drive would break if smacked while firmly inserted into a USB port.
