Default Noctua NH-U9 - NH-U12 CPU Cooler

BigAkita has a new review up on a couple amazing heat pipe coolers from a new manufacturer named Noctua. The NH-U9 and NH-U12 have managed to up the ante yet again in the heatpipe cooler batter. Looks like BigAkita has a new favorite.

Check it out here.

I only hope they make these available in North America soon. They are both unbelievable. Why watercool when you can use these and match or beat watercooled temps?

PCApex is not only getting the word out about these coolers through the review, but GK is sending some notes to contacts he has in the industry to let them know they exist, and that passing up an opportunity to be a distributor would be mistake. PCApex will try to help Noctua out so you U.S./Canadian folks have an opportunity to own one also.

Thumbs up

They are quite readily available here in Europe... and I must say, they seem to be setting new standards!
Great review, btw, Glitterkill!

I watched nervously as the temp started to climb from 25C. It slowed at 29C, stayed at 30C for a while, and after a half hour it stabilized at 31C while sitting idle.

Those would be great in a quiet system

Yup! In the review you can see what the huge cooling surface area & heatpipes do, I found the
performance at "low" settings very impressive! Unfortunately, even the smaller one won't fit
my "digital vcr case" (current posted worklog)...
