Nice article! And a nice "buyers guide" as well! Keep it up!

I hope you have the chance to review some of the newer PSU's with an efficiency of 80% and better,
plus the Scythe NCU 2500 and the latest (biggest) Thermalright heatsinks, in 2006.... I bet they will have a
really good chance to appear in the "Best of 2006" list...

Ahh, it was nice to reminisce about some of the gear that crossed our benches in 2005. I look forward to what 2006 may bring.

Nice work GK. That OCZ memory does kick major ass. DDR540 2-2-2-2 1T for me. Those Opties sure are amazing. At the end where you say the vidoe cards being cooled by liquid. I believe Sapphire released their metal liquid cooling but very limited. Also BFG released a series of cards with waterblocks put on already. What no mention of the WR for 146 Opterons going to PR in 06?

Nice article GK, and great to see all the fantastic gear condensed into one place. In 2005 I cut my teeth on my first hardware reviews, and I look forward to many more in 2006! Great learning tool for me.

Great round up GK, you can build a killer gaming with that hardware without breaking the bank

Makes a great shopping list for people who might just be getting into it, or someone who hasn't got the time to research all the "Best bang for the buck" deals
