Review: NZXT Lexa Classic Series ATX Case

Godfoot has a review up on a new case from NZXT that takes a departure from their previous anime-inspired case designs. The Lexa is a pretty sleek aluminum case which seems aimed directly at lanparty goers.

Thanks BA, although I am finding that only the 3rd and 4th pictures are linked properly to open in the new window/tab. None of the rest of the pics work.

Very nice review GF. I did like the Nutty Professor reference, as this case does appear to be splitting its jeans. Kudos to NZXT for trying something different. Even their other more elaborate/gaudy cases seem to find people whose tastes they fit, and it looks as though the function for this one is adequate.

Good review overall, godfoot. I would liked to have had some pics/views of the "cable management cage" in the back of the box as well, but still a good review nonetheless...

Great review brotha. It's a shame though that they did not put a few extra $ into making the front an actuall brushed aluminum or metal surface...

I think its a spiffy case, But I dont like how the front curves.

I was about to buy this case until I read that its front is not metal but plastic. Thats the cheapest man! I cant stand all these crummy, cheap looking and feeling plastic fronts. Thats the main reason I like Thermal take cases; the hardcore steel doors. So I wont be able to transport it without my car. Big deal, it only holds $1500 worth of video cards and more, why would I be walking down the street with it anyway??

It looks to be pretty much the same chassis as they used in the Nemesis and let me tell you, it's a pretty solid design. Well built and thought out, I was actually quite impressed. However, after learning that the front door is plastic instead of the nice brushed aluminum that it appears to be, I'd have to pass on it, too.

great writeup on the case Godfoot , but i have to say i think this case is #1 ULGY and #2 a big disappointment w/the plastic front . If it was in fact steel/aluminium that would give it some redeeming factor but as it stands , its just another gaudy E-Bay "buy it now for $1" cheeseball case **$40 shipping of course
