| I think you rate this cooler too high for the following reasons: The zalaman cooler it's based on has a speed controller The cooler that it's based on is cheeper The cooler that it's based on has lower noise levels 64db isn't anywere near quite. Also you apear to have been taken in by the marketing of the fatality products. After all it's just an existing cooler with a new fan on the top and an increased price. | ||

Above all, it performs better than the unbranded version giving extremely good temps, and looks damn good at the same time. I think your being a little cynical, they're still great products. And you've obviously arrived at your 64dB conclusion by simply combining the dB ratings of both coolers. Thats not how you calculate dB ![]() The overall noise level from those two components would be 42.6dB. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| the coolers look good and perform great no doubt about that, but the price i think is a little high. -zalman 9500 few bucks more, and helps air flow, not disturb it. -Arctic silencers expell heat from the case. if i had a larger budget i def would get these for the looks, but ive stated above two products that perform better, one for less and the other for a tiny bit more. ^^my thoughts^^. great review lokie, detailed and fun to read. ![]() | ||

| Sorry guys I should have Qouted from a previous review. As stated in the Ultra Heatpipe review my work bench has a folding farm under it with the shops airconditioner behind me. The dB levels went from 60 to 64 with both coolers installed...I thought I did mention that? The GPU cooler was the cause of the rise in dB. And as the watercooling goes it is still the $87 evercool kit, modified though. It is not worthy to be called "efficent" but it works. I simply wanted to try a low pressure liquid cooled kit. I have temps from it and loged them as so. The price is high, Yes. For now they are but in a month or so I'm sure they will come down. | ||
