Default Ultra Fire Heatpipe AMD CPU Cooler

Lokie has a new review up on a new heatpipe design cooler from our buds over at Ultra. Looks to be a nice little cooler... Heatpipe designs seem to be getting more and more prevalent as time goes on. A testament to the technologies' efficiency.

Check it out here.

Great review imo. I had always wondered how heatpipes worked, and it was a nice touch to the review to explain that from the get go. I wonder if any aircooled heatsink will replace the Zalman 7700 as king.

Thorough as always Lokie! I learn much from reading them, not only on the product but ways of testing.

I love the "hot cup of water" testing approach!

Good write-up. Any concerns that the combination of height and weight could be a problem? I know that the Zalmans are heavy, but most of the weight is right down on top of the CPU.

I would classify it as a bottom heavy unit. So weight / height ration is not an issue.

Cool. It's hard to tell because the fins take up a lot of space, but aren't very dense.
