Nice write up! And I am looking for a cooler as we speak for my lappy. But I agree with Foe, I am not spending 109 bucks for that!

If the price is lowered this would be a great cooler. It is one of the best designed cooler pads I have seen.

Nice catch Iateronmly, and thanks GK for fixing that.

Tigerdirect is selling it for $79.99. It's being sold in America under the distributer's name of Inland.

After taking a look I see that Tchi is quite correct. Now Serina may be selling this elsewhere under the Serina name, but here are two links.
Cooler Pad w/ Extras $79.99

Cooler Pad Only $39.99

Good review, but i have one quick question. Why did you hit it for a short usb cord? Its only going right to the laptop right? Other than that good review, but imo compared to other laptop coolers this product might have deserved better than a 6.

i saw a targus cooler at UC Davis's bookstore that was pretty much just a prop for the laptop (supposed to just work by allowing air to flow under it . ..). ended up just using a cardboard box that some cruical ram came in to prop it up. works just as well and was free.

anyways, what size laptop does that cooler support? most laptop coolers i've found don't support 17 widescreen laptops like the inspiron 9300 so haven't bought one yet . ..

The reason for that is as I said in the review. It just didbarely reach from the pad to the laptop. If there is a laptop with a plug any further it may not reach, and since the USB cords are inexpensive I think it would be wise to have one longer. Better to have an not need, than to need and not have.

The dimensions on the cooler pad are: Dimension: 264 x 325 x 27 mm. So you will want to check the measurement on the laptop to see how it will fit.
