Default Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3000

Foe has her first review up and it is on a sweet cordless Logitech setup worthy of any media PC. The Logitech Cordless Desktop MX 3000 Laser includes a multimedia keboard as well as a high quality laser mouse.

Check it out here.

Nice review, Foe! I was actually just looking at getting a new keyboard/mouse set, so this is very timely for me. I've always been a big Logitech fan too, so that was the first place I looked. Hmm... as you mention, those zoom buttons would come in real handy in Photoshop...

Thanks!

Indeed a nice review!
But FF, you can already have "easy" zoom in PS if you have a wheel mouse, just hold down Ctrl (or is it Alt, have to double check) and wheel away for zoom in/out.
I used to be the biggest supporter of context menu "extensions" but with graphic design apps keyboard shortcuts are soooo much easier, especially Photoshop.

Thanks for the compliments on the review.

This keyboard and mouse combo certainly is very useful in graphics programs. Also as I am finding out pretty useful in most all of them. Setting up the F keys makes many everyday tasks one touch done.

To see if this was just a fluke I tried out the mouse in Quake 3 and Painkiller: Battle out of Hell. The result? Accuracy in those games was better also. Since the DPI is the same as in the MX1000 I have to contribute it to the shape of the mouse and the slight change in weight. The MX600 is a bit lighter that the MX1000.

Finally had a chance to read this review...great job!!

I love my MX700 duo setup...it's still chugging along. But this setup you reviewed might be a good consideration for me when it comes time for my current setup to kick the bucket
