Default Asetek Power Kit w-Triple Radiator

One of our old-school aqua pimps, lcpiper, has a new review up on an excellent 3/8" inner diameter COMPLETE water cooling kit from Asetek. Think a triple 120mm radiator might do the trick?

Check it out here.

Hi there!

a little question about the test results; how come the system temp is lower than the ambient temperature?

you succeeded in OC'ing the P 4 +770Mhz with only 1.1v vcore?

Jmke, hi, as the others are passing out welcomes, so will I.

The ambient temp was measured with a compunurse suspended in open air, and the system temp is from a diode on the mobo. Because the system is on a testbench and not an enclosed case I would expect fresh air, fan movement, etc to play a part in the measurements.

I looked through the review and can't spot the reference to 1.1V Core, can you point it out? If there is a mistake I would like to get it corrected.

EDIT: OK, I found the reference to 1.14V Core. I will double check this today and correct it if needed, but, Prescotts are low voltage CPUs.

They are not that low bro. To get my 3.0 E core to 4.12 gigs on air I had to use 1.74 (none SATA, IDE), and to get it to 3.785 I had to use 1.54 to get it stable all day.

Nice review man. Maxium PC did a review on that as well and gave it a kick ass award or a 9 I think (almost a kick ass award) . Seems like you two agree.

Just found the screenie of the default BIOS at 1.37 V core.

I believe the overclocked Voltage should have been 1.465 if I remember correctly. I think I got carried away with my 1s.
