Review: Zalman Reserator 1 Plus Cooler

AntiM has a new review up on Zalman's latest version of the Reserator; Zalman's FANLESS water cooling setup. Looks like there were significant improvements over the original unit.

Damn fine review AntiM. I love the little trick you did with the pictures. I know the original left you a little less than impressed, I like it when a company takes feedback and actually uses it in later revisions. I was tempted to do this review myself, but I know you are the go to guy for the serious water gear. Again, great job.

A very nice review AntiM.

This has started me thinking of adding H2O cooling to my main rig.

I like that this comes as a package that includes a VGA block too.

In the review, it is mentioned that the VGA blocks are slimmer. Does this mean that one could purchase this kit and an additional VGA block and run SLI?

Excuse me if I missed something.

It states that they are intended for SLI configurations.

And Foe, if you ever want to go water, I'm there for ya. It might be a leeetle bit to far for a house call though.

And yes Torn, the gpu coolers should fit on most SLI boards.

Great review, i'm very very tempted to go out and buy one, problem is i've got a Shuttle XPC and i'm wanting to keep it mobile for lan parties. Do you think one of these would even fit into such a small system and if i could carry it around without destroying my comp.

this trouble maker can say that zalman reserator is great ,got one over a week ago,changed the pump to more power full pump before installing as recommended on some forums,easy to setup.if your looking for portableity,has quick release connections for this,but would amagine over time connecting and disconnecting would where these down,would take some time,used coolant with it that came with it,cools few degrees cooler.there a great review on this site about it,well worth a read
