Good Review and a DAMN GOOD mouse. Agreed. I shelled out a penny or so for mine and will not be switching any time soon. It is truly the first comfortable mouse thats cordless and optical and good enough for games. Logitech killed the Microsoft Intellimouse with this product.

P.S. Does this mean the little Akitas have a learning curve again in UT? Might be time for a chicken rematch hahahahahaha

Great review Akita...juz bought this mouse in the last week or so and have been looking for fellow opinions...got mine for about 53$ at staples and been loving it since...i've also been using Logitech mice etc. exclusivly for the last 9-10 years, and theyre yet to let me down (outside of a few buggy driver realeases here and there)...the mx700 was a suprise to me as well. i couldnt resist the color scheme and was needing a new mouse anyways.i bought the mx500 first (which also worked flawlessly) but seen the mx700 on sale the following day and promptly exchanged for it...lol..for a cordless optical mouse, this thing wins hands down...after adjusting to the added weight, i've found it to perform perfectly in all applications i've tried, and with no lag detected so far...keep up the great work...(ps...did have a small tracking problem on a white everglide surface, works fine on the same pad in black though)

I know this may be reviving a dead thread but I've learned recently (being the newb case modder that I am) that the led can be switched with most other 3.7V High Output leds

I also have bought the mouse, very pleased with it, except one point. the scrool button dosnt open doors in RS3 like with my old mouse. i have the mx duo, and im yet to find a keybaord that just controls master volume. it seems teh volume buttons always crontol a number of volume sliders at once, very agravating for me., but both products are awesome other than that.

I love my logitech 700 mouse !! The thing I have to use at work makes me { bad words } nuts !!!!
