| Pimp-of-all-Pimps | I have a new review up on a super funkalicious case by Thermaltake, the Tsunami Dream. I haven't been a big fan of their cases in the past but this one certainly earns them some major cool points. Check it out here. |

| Apex Tech Fanatic Supreme | Sweet review GK! If I didn't already have a case for my new rig, I would be sold on this. May have to look into it for my next one.

Heh, that is my main gripe with most of their cases as well, but this Tsunami is different, I like it. Good job on the review.

Great review GK, I too have this case, it is indeed very silent & well made. ![]() My only gripes were that the PSU was hard to install and the front LED's need to be sanded to differ light more like a glow instead of a spotlight. BTW, the front bezel sits on hinges, if you open both bezels and open to an exact angle, you can pull upward and remove the bezel.

![]() | As always, the reviewers of this case make me drool i gotta get a job i gotta get a tsunami when i first saw that case, it inspired gothic modbox, always been the center of the planned project to build gothic modbox, if i had a wish about computer cases it would be easily to get one of these bad boys for free, black with the side window-ohh god i cry thinking i don't have one of these crazy cases.

| Apex Tech Fanatic | I look at this case and am amazed.....it also brings up a question. Is there a problem with the intake fan being restricted by the massive aluminum door? Has anyone tested this out. If it's not a problem, then I may go an get myself one of these.

Yes it does restrict flow some. Not enough for it to be a major concern.

![]() | I'm glad to see my instincts are good. I have been looking at this case for a week and decided to get it tonite. Should be here soon. PCToys is just down the road from me here. This case will make a nice home for my new ASUS A8N-Sli board and Athlon 64-3500 cpu. Along with some Corsair PC-3200XL memory. and aan EVGA 6800GT vid card. Oh....and an Antec NeoPower 480 psu....did I mention an array of 74g WD Raptor drives in raid config? Of course...sound will be provided by Logitech z-5500 speakers.....Did I forget anything? ANYway....great forum here....thx 4 helping me make my decision on this case. |

I agree with these. I didn't notice that there was a review of this until now, but I agree wholeheartedly. I've had this case for about a month now and I'm very pleased

![]() | Hopefully somebody who owns one of these can help me out. I just wanted to know how much clearance there is,between the front cover and the drive bays. I'll be wanted to put various fan controllers, which have knobs and things raised out of the front. I've got to make sure there will be room for the door to close, with the fan controllers installed. I'm thinking about getting one of these, and don't have a shop nearby, too look myself. I might have to reconsider if its not suitable for what I need. |

Because of this review, this is the case that I'm currently using. The clearance is extremely minimal...anywhere from 1/8" to 1/4" (because of the curve). Rob

![]() | Cheers rob. I've quite enamoured with this case, and don't really fancy searching for another one. Do you reckon they'd be anything inside, that'd stop me dremeling it, so I can have the drives sitting slightly further in? All this toolless design stuff is new to me, I haven't built a new rig in quite a few years, so I'm expecting everything to be different to what I know. Thanks again Jim |
