Default Vantec EZ Grip Molex Connecter Kit

Lokie has a new review up on an outstanding set of molex plugs produced by Vantec. Looks like I need to order myself some of these little gems.

Check it out here.

Yeah, they are nice. My Fortron PSU came with the same style molex connectors and I have already seen other PSUs incorporating them as well. They make "pulling" the connectors easy as for the most part the tabs do the work for you.

Question, what exactly are they? I mean, i know that they help you pull the molexes out better and stuff, but there weren't any closeups of any of the individual plugs other than when it was glowing, and that was at an angle. Just, a little food for thought.

And for te pin removal tool alone, 9 bucks is a pretty good deal, add to that getting a pimp product, definitely a good deal.

they're normal molex connectors with little popup grips on the top and bottom. look at the pics again, 'specially the vid card one.

Nice review. Is the pin extractor decent if you are dextorous?

The "pimp hat" rating says 10, but only two hats are present.

How much is the one from ratshack? Was it actually called a molex pin extractor?

Good review and awesome product.

I think it's great that the pin extractors are included. I bought mine from radio shack for $8 or something around that. Nice complete package for someone who wants to replace the connectors.

the package is worth it just for the pin extractor

Thanks Lokie.
Nice to see articles on items that aren't major purchases and do an effective job.
