Good review BA...looks like the company took a page out of the server chassis book, as those PCI locking mechanisms look exactly like the ones Compaq uses on their ML series servers. I love the drive mounting mechanism too, as well as that LED array on the front of the case.

It's a little too weird for a lot of folks. My kids love it though.

I honestly was expecting a cheap pre-mod that I would tear apart and use for toilet paper, but it is actually a decently built box. And you got to admit, there are a whole hell of a lot of folks out there who would go nuts for an Anime computer with KITT LED's.

Agreed BA, It looks like you could drop a bomb on it too and it would survive.... I've seen some cases that looked like aluminum foild sturdy.

If you mean all-chrome, that would be sweet. If you mean chrome on silver, well they have that too. And orange, yellow, green, and blue. BA was right, it's the freakin' power rangers. But I'm totally digging on the case, being an anime nut and all. Black, I think. And the tri-color fan's goin bye. I had a thought about the (fake?) vents in the face. Nothing a little careful dremeling couldn't fix. Maybe even some "Patlabor"-style offset holes, perhaps 1/2" in diameter.

I'm kinda hoping the led face can operate when the machine is off... Sorta a slow "breathing" fade on/off. That would have a great spook factor for people.

Well, I got a black one too. I'm pretty impressed with it, except the quick-clips for the drives are a little funky. Where it wants to lock the drive, the face of the drive sticks out about 1/16th inch past the case facade. I ended up snapping them out to recess the drives back 3/16" anyway so the Aerogate and Musketeer could fit without cutting into the badging molded into the inside LED cover. Whole setup's gonna be black/chrome (obviously). Gonna start working on ventilation next. Most likely gonna strip it apart and shoot the face, sides, and top panels the same shade of black. Any reccomendations on interior color? I was also toying with the idea of polishing up the interior without paint. Kinda keeping with the whole chrome deal. Also thinking on pulling that red piece out of the forehead and sending it out to be chromed with the custom case handles. It's a kinda cool semi-pearl red now, but it's the only red on the case unless I put red led fans in the rear fan box. And since the fan box is vented as such, it won't affect the bloo inside.

Dayum. I just geeked the hell out. ^^;
