Review: Sapphire Radeon 9600XT Ultimate

BigAkita has checked out Sapphire's Radeon 9600XT Ultimate Edition for us. Sharp looking card plus it's quiet. But how does it perform?

Nice Bro...
Gravity return plays a big role in the Zallman type of HeatPipe I guess, good to know.
Looks like a great, lil toy to play with for under 200 bux..

very nice review BA. I wish ATI would have sent a dvi to vga converter with my 9600xt, all i got was the card a manual and the cd.

Got the Non-Ultimate Edition and Its really sweet, I get around 12,500+/- on 3DMark01 and 3700+/- on 3DMark03. I also modded mine a bit using OCZ Copper BGA Ram Sinks, and I am considering the Vantec Iceburg. Maybe then I will get more overclocking stability out of this bugger. RivaTuner Allowed me to run up to 525/650 but anything higher it black screened. Though I do wonder if upping the volts would work?

Anyfeedback would be great.

Using FRAPs I get 45FPS on Halo and UT2k3 online I get 75FPS and Offline I get 85-100FPS.
