Default Thermal Paste Roundup

Dex has just reviewed new thermal pastes from AI Tech and Tuniq. But are they any good?

Check it out here.

I dig your writing style Dex.

And its nice to know AS5 has a competition! I can see it now thermal paste dropping by a whole dollar!

Nice a competitor, finally. It would have been nice to see ceremique in the test, its quite popular (and most of the time cheaper than AS5).

One interesting thing, Air coolers vs. water coolers.

Do you think any of these thermal pastes would par better with air cooling?

I have since tested them all again on my Noctua heatsink, with pretty similar results in that the Cool Silver was easily able to hold its own with AS5.

Thanks for the input guys

EDIT: Further more, I took the heatsink off my 8800GTS to clean it yesterday and replaced most of the thermal crap nVidia slapped on with the Cool Silver and my load temps are down around 8-9 degrees at stock clock/mem speeds
