Default Cooler Express Phase CPU Cooler

Lokie has a review up on new extreme phase-change unit on the market which aims to offer extreme performance at a slightly lower price.

Check it out here.

Nice review, but I have to say that the results didn't look that great. Positive load temps is really bad for phase change. You could get one custom made thats designed for that sort of heat output from alot of well respected guys at places like xtremesystems for the same price (if not cheaper).

Though I'm not saying that off the shelf phase units are a bad thing.

PS 2100th Post.

my understanding with phase change is that you have to design for a specific load? if so is this one about 200w?

Custom What?

I would say ideally yes, 200 watts is its limit before it really warms up, but it handled the aprox. 240 watts and stayed stable. I wish I had a Q6800 to really push it, but the review gives a good representation. Of course INMHO
