PimpRig Comdex 2003 Coverage

"This was also my first ever trip to Las Vegas. I can give you an idea of the atmosphere by telling you one of my experiences while I was there. DuckW, Lokie, and myself made a run to the local Target to pick up some supplies for some photos we were going to make for a website revolution we were staging while out at Comdex. While looking up and down the aisles what should I see but one of the most gruesome looking drag-queens ever sporting a ratty bright red wig and rollin' around in a motorized wheelchair. I was barely able to contain my laughter and amazement. What made it so crazy is that no one else even gave this scene a second glance as though it was commonplace. Duck and Lokie simply looked at me and said, "Hey man, it's Vegas.""

Haha! You bet we are on for next year. Had a blast meeting Hojo and his wife. Don't know where Potoato Joe was but we tried to get a hold of him. My highlight of the trip was playin UT2K4!!W00t!

We know who's making the night owl. The company is still working on the final Production model. We will have a review model soon enough.

I'm sad we couldnt get together with Potatoe Joe. But HoJo and his wife are like family to me and spending time with them makes my day every time we get together. HoJo swears he's going next year also.

I'm thinking a Comdex 2004 PimpRig.com sponsored Party at the Voodoo Lounge at the top of the Rio!

I know I'm inviting Briana and Nicole!

This was by far, the best coverage of COMDEX I've seen on the net.. Good work guys. Tons of case photos and a side order of babes for DuckWarrior. I mean, how can you top that?!

Is it just me, or did anyone else think this was a pre-mod case at first glance? (ok, I'm still waking up here) but damn, it would be cool for a post apocolyptic theme case

About the only way that I can think of making that coverage any better is make the side order of babes for me. Great work GK, DW, and Lokie.

I'll have to agree with mnpctechguy on the coverage. Most sites just post a bunch of text and no pictures. This article almost had mor pictures than words, and you know what they say about pictures...they're worth a million words!

its good to hear you had a good time at comdex. i worked on some prototpye robots that went for whitebox robotics and foraxis design solutions. i was wondering if you noticed them or remembered them. they are basically mobile pcs that utilize video navigation. from what i saw on the cnn coverage they were some of the best looking prototypes there. they were 3 robots, (white, silver, and yellow) that had an R2D2 stature. well....let me know if you saw them. peace

You should have seen us three, at some of the more interesting displays all three cameras came out. Like the twins..

OK, seriously we got some reactions when all three of us would pull the cameras out and start ripping away.
We had soooo many Pix between us, I really feel sorry for poor GK having to choose which ones to post.
