| Apex Techie Wannabe | This case appears to be a variant of the Atlantis "Solid welded aluminum chassis" model by Sigma. (Hiper designs equipment, but manufacture is done by others; the Hiper power supplies are made by Andyson--see matbe.com review of 105 power supplies) About the design of the Anubis: I can just imagine the product design guys arguing: We're not going to put a solid alu heat sink on the top and then cut a hole in it for a fan! That's the whole point of the heat sink! Yeah, but if we don't cut a hole for a top fan the reviewers will only give us an 8.5! I added a full top heat sink to one of my cases last year--looks neat but hard to clean. | |
