| AntiM has a new review of what appears to be the end all be all of cases. The new Cooler Master Cosmos 1000 due to hit the market soon gets put through its paces. Will it survive AntiM's brutal bootcamp?.... Check it out here. | ||

| Nice review Mike! I've wanted to see how good this puppy was ever since catching a couple of sneak pics a couple of months ago You've enlightened me on everything that I wanted to know *searches for that bucket of money* | ||

| CM's high-end cases always seem to have way too much "style" about them. The Stacker 830 and this one share the exact same problem: No matter how you mod them, people will always be able to say "Oh, it's a Stacker 830/Cosmos/whatever". I'm also interested in how badly that hard-disc arrangement hinders airflow if you put six drives in. Can't be great for cooling. | ||

| As the cooling come up from the bottom and the HDD's are arranged on their sides I cant see it being a real problem... but I wouldnt mind seeing some numbers on that.. Personally. I would almost give a body part for this case.. I like it.. everything about it.. | ||

I honestly never thought that question would come up. After all the hard drives sit on top of the front vent and there are 4 -120 fan's moving air around. The airflow itself would hardly change at all. Each drive already sits in a box that blocks flow about as much as it ever will. Each bay has a vent on both sides of it for airflow which is much larger than the gaps in most cases between hard drives. In hindsight, I should have got a close-up picture of that. I don't have six drives to drop in, but I just checked the single drive in it and it is running the same delta temp it did sitting in the Lian Li Cube directly in front of a 80mm fan. As for the looks, well I called that one right. It's not for everybody. | |||||||||||||||||||||||||

| Its a nice case, the review was awesome. But a modders case, I think not. I would buy it for someone that wasn'tplaning on changing much hardware, or in need of any aestetics. Maybe some additions to the outside of the case, and just maybe a window, on the front or top, but definately not on the sides. I like the 140mm fan holes ontop, thats a Mod worth doing to that case, cutting the blowholes out. Otherwise i really like the seperate space for the PSU part. Great review Mike | ||

| Apex Tech Fanatic | Newegg already has the case for sale, but I haven't seen it anywhere else. I just ordered one. I've wanted it for my new rig since I saw it in Maximum PC Dream Machine article. Very nice review btw, AntiM. | |
