Default Zalman CNPS7700-AlCu LED

Lokie has a new review up of an old but good heatsink from Zalman, the CNPS7700-AlCu LED which offers some new bling for a reasonable price.

Check it out here.

Thumbs down Re: Review: Zalman CNPS7700-AlCu LED

Who the heck cares about the color of the LED? I can't believe that much space was devoted to something that trivial. If anything, show me how disable the LED.

While I realize many people are concerned about details such as that, I'm personally more interested in how well it performs its intended use.

That said, I would think more people would find a discussion centered on noise, power draw, mounting, and er, uh.... cooling to be more informative.

Bummer that this review has you so riled up dude... Do you have some bias or prejudice against aesthetics or something??
I take it you're saying that there was inadequate performance and installation data then??

Call me blind, but the general performance across the board appears to read pretty much on par with the full Cu version...

I'm no thermodynamics engineer though....
