Press Release // AMD Captures 52% of retail market for September

The numbers are in for September retail computer sales, and AMD has captured 52% percent to Intel’s 46% with the remaining 2% falling mostly to Apple. They have done this largely on high sales of a budget HP Media Center PC.

All of my friends who own their pc (about 15) all have AMD's...people are seeing the lite. Not even dell can hold em back now! Onward march!

Nice to see the tide turned; Intel is now the "other" chip maker.
