I think like J E said, LED arrays are better.... causee of the deeper color.... sure CC's have a softness to it's color.... but it doesn't have the same briliance....a blue CC looks like light blue... but a blue LED looks almost like bluish pruple... giving that rich color... also it show skillz and patiences to wire and hide the wires..

Dude, I know neons give out heat, but how much? Enough to raise ambient temperature in your case? Enough to burn your hand on touch?

Hot enough to not want to light your case with one.

No they don't burn, but use more power, which means more heat. If you have a great cooling solution you can use one. I used them for years and still have some.

Matter of fact I have one in the Skull case in the review of Xoxides Skull case. It was brighter than the cold cathodes and the little extra heat is not noticable on the non overclocked system.

Now these are quality neons from Streetglow not those cheap things at wall mart.

I think Im going to use a floodlight with a color wheel in front of it, like they used on christmas trees in the 50s, gee that would be swell.
