A fair amount.... I have quite some expierience whith "silencing" (making holes, fitting stuff "decoupled",
'modding PSU's, dampening cases, etc, etc..)... I just posted a worklog of my Digital VCR project, and
I'll soon post a worklog of my (nearly completed) COD full tower 'mod.... that last one is put on "hold",
I want to finish the Digital VCR first...

I must admit, visiting this place sure works stimulating!!!

I put "a little bit." I haven't done anything major (yet, waiting for my new hardware). But I have done some basic stuff like case widows and blowholes and whatnot. I'm learning a ton here, though, about both modding and computers in general. Thanks a bunch to this community for being so understanding of us noobs out here!

"A little bit"

Ive completed several small modifications to my main rigs case, like adding switches, cutting blow holes etc. Done a few small mods, like my recent NES controller pendrive.

Built a computer inside a Sega Saturn, suppose that counts as totally made over a case

Also "a little bit" ... re-wiring, lighting, and sound dampening. Started putting rubber mounts on my drives and fans back before I knew there was such a thing as "modding". Just haven't had the time to start my planned project, what with a new wife, new job, new kid, and grad school.

I'm kinda booked ...

But looking forward to Summer when I can get some painting done!

ps -- anyone realize that electronic toothbrushes run on 3.0 volts? Was thinking that'd be an easy USB-port mod for one, just the other day ...

So far, I'm the only immodest one apparently, As I took tons to mean that I've used bondo, created my own techniques/tools, custom make parts, wire custom circuits, etc. Just not to the point of Guru, not having done any phase change or WC on anything.

"A little bit"

I know enough to know I don't know it all... I still like to see innovative techniques and ideas, and incorporate them into my own project(s), when at all possible (skill level- and cost-wise)

I've only done one or two cases but my last mod, the Gateway mod, was my most extensive mod and I had to fab a lot of stuff inside it to make it all work. I'm going to upgrade it soon and I'm going to fab a small separate power supply for it. It will use the 90w for the drives and the graphics card and the motherboard will be run off a gutted 320 made to fit inside an mATX.

Im in the "A little bit. - A couple small projects" camp

I HAVE made over 2 full cases, but that's all the experience I've had

I have done bondo, painting, watercooling, overclocking and created custom parts.
1 chop top case for my HTPC
1 lightly modified case with a custom W/C system
1 medium modified high end air cooling for my main rig

I voted for A fair amount. - 2 or 3 completed cases

A fair amount. Completed a case and working on my second right now, but also have a third which I started then set aside for the current one. I also have completed tons of small projects (hard drive window, mouse led mod, keyboard mods, etc. etc.)

I have a tiny bit of experience. I started a project (here) a loooong time ago and have been puttering around on it since but havent made any major changes. I may an update a few months ago thinking i would get some work done but then never did it. I have some plans drawn out for a top window and an etch for the side window but who know if that will ever happen. I usually end up falling asleep before i actually get to modding

Ive got a decent bit of experence under my belt.

My first project was a case for my brother
http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e3..._0335Small.jpg

Then i flamed my premod case

Next I did the Canada case which is still in progress (ATX conversion)

My next goal is to do something with my current rig (any suggestions???)

Nice mods man! You should throw some white racin stripes right down the center of your new rig imo.

Ive modded a few rigs in my time, and ive started more worklogs that still havent been finished than i care to remember. Ive still got all my cases that are bein chopped, so the logs arent quite dead yet. Ohhhh ive got an incognito mod that is gettin some watercuttin done right now......getttin a little antsy in the pantsy to show that one off.

I cut my first blowhole in a Gateway Pentium Pro 200 rig when I overclocked it to 233. I didn't really think about it as modding, I was looking for a way to cool the processor so I cut an 80mm hole and installed a fan.

Since then I have realized that whatever doesn't suit me, I can cut and grind it until it does. Empowerment is a wonderful thing.
