  |  I defrag and run Ad-Aware on my athlon every two days since it takes only two minutes. On my P4 dell I defrag it once every month, and run Ad-Aware weekly. On both machines virus scan is ran daily.

  | I defrag about once every two weeks or so......scandisk before I defrag and virus scan about once a week. Spybot search and destroy about once a month.

 | I have my defrag set to "Schedule Tasks" at 3:00am every night and my AVG antivirus set at 2:00am every night too.....since my rig is always on and I'm in bed.....why not. Ad-Aware I just do myself when I'm finshed for the night.

| I defrag about once every 2-3 weeks. I run AV every few days. I keep Ghost images on my server that I update every month or so. If something does go wrong, I'm usually sort of prepared....

| Mine will always be a monthly proceedure due to my house having this curse of dust and dog hair. It will be more than ever now, as my aero 7 cooler had see thru plastic - so any amount of dust looks a complete mess

| i clean up ma junk files and clean my registry weekly, but i only defrag monthyl, does the trick in my opinion

| I find myself cleaning up my system in different time periods: defragging: monthly Spyware/virus checking: Daily Cleaning out my case with air and checking the wires: weekly I would pick weekly on those options but I try to do spring cleaning as often as possible.

 | I'm with BA on Diskeeper... If I analyze the drive and it tells me moderately or lightly fragmented, I'll wait a week or so to check again... Also heard that too much DFing can mess up your HD... AFA cleaning, I use anti-static cleaning cloths about once every two weeks, just to keep the dust bunnies from taking over, Windex Wipes on the monitor and keyboard, and when I USED to use a ball mouse, the rollers once a week...

| Ohhh it says defrag! I thought it said reformat when I first voted. I never defrag. I reformat once a week. Sunday I stick in the xp corporate edition (no activation) and eat my Sunday breakfast. Oh I also have around 5 spiders and a mass of cobwebs in my thermaltake. What can I say, I live in the country and gnats get in the room. They are attracted to the light and spiders eat them. I am a naturalist and I congratulate the spiders in adapting to there new surrounding forming an ecosystem. Everyone in my room get the benefits except for the hypnotized gnats.
