i check every few seconds or so...

no, honestly at the VERY minimum i check twice a day, when i come in and when i leave work. 90% of the days I am on a few more times too, like when ever the boss isn't around. but i'm on dialup so i can't be on all the time

Yeah Duck I see it pop up alot. It is because of the poll. Everytime someone votes it basically counts as a active thread. I noticed that the polls did that when one day it said....

"There have been 1 threads and 0 posts since your last visit!"

That is what made me figure it out.

hehe...ive known this site existed for a week, been visiting for 2 days and have already visited a good 10 times. O the things i can do off our skools crapintosh's. Its amazing how when im bored i check all the forums, since i have missed alot of info that happened before me. I think this site is great.
