| I am disappointed in all of them that no one has come out with ram that can run 300 FSB in a 1.1 ratio on an intel chipset. PC-4800, Oced to 300 FSB, 2,3,2,8 timmings, now why can't we have that! I got OCZ, its ok....I had Corsair XMS, its ok....I have had Mushkin and Geil, they are ok, but still no PC-4800! Last edited by SpikeShot; 17-September-04 at 12:40 PM. | ||

| I've been using mushkin ever since outcast got me into it. I currently running 2x 512MB 2700 in my desktop. I'm planning on getting new ram for my laptop though. I need more than what's in here. It feels to bogged down. Thenagain, I'm used to the AMDs than Intel. I wish this intel could handle more programs than 3-5. argh, I'm so conflicted with proccessors. | ||

| Apex Techie Wannabe | First crucial and micron are the same company, so you should roll the the 13 votes for micron into crucial, second someone asked about samsung memory... I'm not sure what their memory sticks are like but they are making most of the chips that go on the ramm sticks, like all of Corsairs TwinX series. I happen to like what i get from from corsairs modules, so I buy corsair rather than direct from samsung because it works. ![]() | |

| Apex Techie Wannabe | Just picked up some new PC2-4200 Platinum memory, replaced some older Corsair modules, and I have to say I am really impressed. I'm a big Corsair guy but gotta tell you these OCZ modules really perform great. Will definately consider OCZ for my next system as well. | |

| Although it may go against the spirit of the poll question, I prefer to use RAM that: a) is relatively cheap (free is even better) in terms of $$$ (a pimp's gotta have priorities, y'all...) b) performs on par with other more expensive brands, whether OC'ing or not c) does a) and b) and still looks pimp I voted for Geil, since I'm using two 512 sticks of their Ultra X (TCCD) PC3200 RAM (great deal on one and Xmas gift on the other), and the machine is faster than I've ever seen it. I have used SimpleTech (Nitro line of RAM), and they're nice, too... | ||
