Guess everyone else likes Corsair too... I use their Value Select in most rigs i build people and plan on using their XMS Pro stuff in the rig i'm building for myself. Blinkenlights.

For overclocking: Corsair (or Mushkin)
For standard user machines that I don't want overclocked, and for servers: Kingston ValueRAM (Lifetime warranty, stable as Helium)

I like Corsair the most for OC'ing. OCZ is a close second. I had problems with some mobo posting w/ the OCZ.

As for everyday mobo, I like Micron / Crucial. Never have a compatibility problem at all, work in every mobo I put them in.

On the bottom of my list are Geil's Plat 4200 and Kingston HyperX 4200. They perform at the speed specified, but is terrible at tight timing. Even if you under clock the ram to 3200, I couldn't even get CAS 2.

As for the other manf, like Mushkin, Buffalo, and so forth, I have not had any experience w/ the mem. I just get what I know works

Been using mushkin for years and have never had an issue. Used some OCZ before that and it was good stuff too. PC150 OCZ

Kingston in everything I build, for customers and my rigs. However, I will use generic ram in extremely low end rigs, like 1Ghz/-.

There are a whole bunch of good RAM manufacturers out there...I have HyperX in my rig right now, but will probably get Corsair for my next build...not that I don't like Kingston...I think they are great. I just want to try other brands so I am not biased to one particular brand. I have Crucial in my wife's rig and Kingston ValueRAM in my son's. As long as it performs up to it's rated specs I'm happy, although I am really happy when it does better than spec.

Mushkin has my Vote, then corsair, for AMD. For the Intel platform the GEIL Ultra Platnuim 4200. That sh!t will run 285 1:1 @ 3.1v...

Have to agree with Chrome about the GeiL Ultra Platinum 4200. That stuff is absolutely incredible.

Rock solid running 267 1:1 @ 2.8v (stock voltage).

I have to go with Corsair. I get their newsletter and their new xms pro is stable at 617 FSB with a 4-4-4-12.

I prefer to use my own but if you have some PC3200 you can spare, I will use it instead.

I voted for Corsair, but I would have no problem using quality Mushkin, Kingston or Geil.

I have Geil Plat 4200, and found them less then stellar. i actually had to RMA my last batch because they couldn't hit rated speed w/o extra cooling which was BS.

So at the speeds you running at, i'm assuming you got 3-4-4-8? What is the tightest timing you are able to get and at what speed?
