Since the Phenom will run on AM2 will you (or do you) use an AM2 setup?

Exactly what the title says... how many of you use AM2, how many plan to move to AM2 and how many of you refuse to and why? Consider the upcoming Phenom CPU as well.

Well im an Intel guy.........But if AMD can beat Intel.(like some real deal benchmarks) I will move to AM2......

Ill probably buy one when they come out, provided they're pretty cheap, to upgrade my backup rig, which is currently a below par AthlonXP 2200+.

I'm still running 939 chips. I haven't upgraded yet just due to funding issues. Maybe one day if they prove worthy. If not, back on the Intel bandwagon.

On AM2, will upgrade to AM2+ when the Phenoms hit the enthusiast level, and the tech. matures a little. But a AM2 6000+ @ 3.5 is damn fast enough

Correct me if I am wrong. Phenom is a desktop quad-core processor with 65nm technology. Barcelona is a server quad-core processor with 65nm technology. Brisbane? Umm, I think it is a desktop dual-core processor with 65nm technology. Windsor is a desktop dual-core processor with 90nm technology.

Seeing as I just bought X2 6000+ (which hauls the most ass for the money I've yet seen IMO), I'mma wait for the later revisions of Barc (the cheap ones - as hopefully - pricewise they're slower than Peny)
