What are some polls you would like to see?

Normally, I have always come up with our site-wide poll topics and as you can see by the poll history, we have covered A LOT of ground.

I would now like for you guys to suggest some topics for future polls. Some may be used... some may be changed. Do some of the older topics deserve to be revisited today? What would YOU like to see a poll on? Do you like our current format for polls? Got any suggestions?

I look forward to your feedback, guys and gals!

Wow, over a week posted and noone has suggestions? Feel free to post them here if you have them.

And why wouldn't we just post the poll we would be interested in by ourselves?

I'm curious as to why people choose the products or methods they choose . . . So, maybe a series like "If you chose air over water cooling, out of these choices, which best represents WHY you chose air?" and so on.

Also, how about one about "Remember the Caffeine Machine? What else would you like to see modded into a pc?" (C'mon . . . think of the great 'Will It Blend?' mods that could be made!)

Just my odd ideas.

Well, since I'm into modding, maybe we could do a poll that tracks modding trends.
Thusly:

What impresses you the most when you see a great mod?

A. Custom fabbed parts
B. Overall Theme/execution
C. Nice paintjob/colors
D. Creativity and Frugality
E. Intensive elbow grease

I would very much like too see a poll on copy protection/pirating.
I did a couple of searchs, but none of my keywords came up with anything, so poll away.

If possible,
please include options, for

Wanted, unwanted, try before you buy, if you like it enough then buy.
Activation periods, as well opinons on emulators.
And maybe where do users think copy protection is going in the future.

I dont know how it could be done exactly, but i would be willing to put some time into thinking of questions and the like.

could be interesting, but im looking forward to the results.

Not really a poll, but I've always wanted to see a recurrent column of "where are they now" about technologies and companies we knew.

Whatever happened to Cirrus Logic? I seem to recall their last being known for trying to offer a Rambus-based video card back before the Rambus-Intel fiasco.

Because only I can create polls in the Poll forum and only the polls posted there get seen site-wide. So, by suggesting a poll, you can get your topic seen by many more people and get a much better return on feedback. Especially since only those site-wide polls can be voted on by guests.

I was thinking like Best Heat exchanger, best ram, best water pump, along the lines of your 4 but that wouldn't work becase polls need to have the options before people post. It would work just not very well.
Staff member of the month would be great if their was like a picture frame on the front page and their avatar would go in it lol.
