That matches my 92mm noctua, with a silent, and with a high performance, just not as loud either or.

I used a white lightning aerocool 92mm fan, and a thermaltake high performance blue LED fan. The aerocool is virtually that "spring day", the thermaltake, isn't a hurricane, but its louder.

Same idle and load temps.

"high performace":
idle: 30.2C
load: 34.4C

"silent":
idle: 38.8C
load: 46.2C

That was on my X2, with dual instances of F@H for 30 mins. Thats some old test. I in turn switched my WC loop off the sempron and put it on the X2, and put the noctua on the sempron.

like said below, Is it worth it for the board cooling?

But your not in Florida/Hell. It's hot here even in the winter. AC's been running
all day and night for awhile now. I need a new unit :-(

Ahh, left that part, my ambients were in like september, fall-ish temps in pittsburgh range from 5-80F outside, but in here its like 70-75F average, its a big house but my central air keeps it regulated. LOL, i live in a nice place, and i can't afford a new rig. (family owns my house, and sometimes stays here like twice a week)

My Nexus fans have arrived as well as the Noise Meter. The noise meter
is actually a MasTech MS8229 Digital Multimeter that includes a noise level
indicator. It requires (3) AAA batteries that I'll have to buy tomorrow so
it will be tomorrow before I post any new results.

Hello Slaymate i do have one question when you have the Gemini II mounted are you still able to get at your memory strips to remove them, that being in case one of the memory strips goes bad or do you have to pull that whole heatsink off to get at it, seeing that it so big and covers up most of everything.

Well I've got a CM Stacker case so I can still get to everything. I'm sure
a smaller case would be more difficult. But the GeminII can be mounted
in a vertical postion instead of horizontally which will improve access. I'll
be testing all of this out over the weekend :-)

Ok thanks for the heads up, there that is something new i learn new everyday here at pcApex did not even no that you could position it vertical position and thought it had to go in the horizontal way.

I'm sure it will :-) But for the review I'll only test it as it came out of the box.
But I'll keep everyone updated as I explore further and tweak it to it's full
potential. In my mind, this is a keeper :-)

Are you sure? Because I'd be willing to take it off your hands if it's cluttering up all your space

Well I'm moving a little slow on this. I've got my pictures and graph ready
but I'm really wanting to make a good impression with this review. Here's my
Introduction. I'm a dumb country boy so correct me at will :-)

Once again I have a new product on my desk for evaluation. The GeminII Heat Sink from CoolerMaster is similar to Toyota entering the NASCAR Circuit. I’ve always loved their line of Stacker cases, but I had never actually considered them in any of my cooling choices before. They did get my attention with the HyperTX but it was still more of a medium performer. Well I’m here to tell you that CoolerMaster has been doing their homework. This piece of metal has High-Performance written all over it like stickers on a race car, even the box is pretty. [pictures go here]
This is a large Heat Sink with the overclocker or silent pc enthusiast clearly in mind. A large case is a foregone requirement. The small form factor has been banned from the race track. This Heat Sink sports a $50 price tag on it but you’ll need a couple 120mm fans to go with it. So count that into your budget when you go to place your order.
I’ll be testing this Heat Sink with (3) different combinations of fans to provide a clear picture of what can be expected with your purchase. I polled some of my friends and decided to use Nexus, Silverstone and Delta’s for this evaluation.
