Abit AN8 Motherboard

The Abit AN8 Motherboard is an awsome motherboard, I just put one in my new build. Both AN8 and Fatal1ty AN8 boards are awsome but price wise you can get the same performance for a less costly price by getting the non-Fatal1ty branded AN8. My favorite features on the AN8 is the OTES cooling system and the GURU overclocking, being able to overclock my system with such ease is a definate plus. The AN8 is also very stable. I highly recomend the Abit AN8 Motherboard to anyone who wants performance but dosent want to spend over $150 www.newegg.com for a motherboard.

found at DUMPINGGOODS.COM for 121.00 yesterday only had one left. i bought it for pimp i.o.u. very impresivse looking board many cool red leds too , ps if he don`t want it I will build it for me

Just my $.02, but perhaps you could include some more info with your "review"?

BIOS screenshots, pics of the mobo, comparisons to previous mobos you've had/used, if they would be in the same category (s754/s939).

Advantages of upgrading to the AN8 from, say, a Gigabyte K8N Pro (or from a socket platform or two in general)

Any downsides to the mobo, for instance, your last one had more SATA connectors, whatever...

Check out some of the other Member-submitted reviews, you'll see what I mean. I'm not trying to discourage you, or start a flame war, but this review was kinda anorexic, IMO.

I was wondering if the AN8 was the same as the fatality board. Both are identical, one just comes with a ram cooler and fancier cables?

from what i understand thier is a differance,the board i got,open box,is for a friend of mine,we ain`t rich so it will be a while till everything can be purchsed and put togather .go to tom`s hardware guide,they have little shootout aginst some other boards.maybe someone else might be more helpfull than I
