| There was a recent case where a member took advantage of a Directron program which refunds money paid for equipment purchased from them in exchange for review coverage. This program is designed for site OWNERS, not members. By posting a review in exchange for equipment whereby the sponsoring site receives publicity constitutes an economic agreement between PC Apex and the site the equipment came from. NOBODY, I mean NOBODY except GlitterKill will ever approve any sponsorship or request any equipment for review. GlitterKill is solely responsible for all aspects of PC Apex. Any member entering into an agreement involving PC Apex without GlitterKill's knowledge in the future will at the least be reduced to probationary status, and will more than likely result in banishment. Furthermore, if the agreement leads to loss of sponsorship or any other economic impact on PC Apex or PC Apex's owner may result in litigation. PC Apex welcomes member reviews and encourages everyone to at least try to post one review on equipment they've acquired. However, posting a review for 3rd party publicity will not be tolerated. | Thanks for the heads-up BA. I was unsure about PR's policies on member reviews and I appreciate that they are welcomed, though I am still at a loss as to what format an article should be presented in, to whom it should be submitted, and besides the issue that you just stated the official position on...what other considerations are given to submissions? I realize that you don't wish to be spammed with spurious articles about every new mousepad, so perhaps a brief guideline as to what is acceptable or desired by the staff would separate some of the wheat from the chaff? Thanks, Wordbiker | ||

The article should be presented in a logical fashion, and should contain information about the following:
Obviously you can't use every heading for every type of review, but this is a general outline of how reviews should be structured. Spelling MUST be correct, as well as links. Pictures help a lot too, but keep them small. (Not sure what the official size is, I think it's 320x240) How to Post Your Review: Create a new thread in the Member Review Forum. It will not show up in the forum umtil is has been approved by a moderator. Once created, a moderator will look over your review and (hopefully) approve it. Once approved, it will become public in the Member Reviews Forum for all to see. Here is a rough outline of the Member Review Forum Rules, subject to change:

| Looks like I'm not gonna get my money back for the FX-53 and X800Platinum I just ordered... Seriuosly..I hate to see people take advantage of a good program like that, It would realy suck to see them cancel it because of people pulling stunts like that... Whens the blanket party? Good thing this isn't a Car Review site ![]() | ||

I was about a day away from submitting my review of the new KY Jelly Warming Lyquid. I guess it could kind of relate to computers....in a sticky gross way. "Mom, Billy made the keyboard keys stick together again!"

| Umm guys... why was he banned again? That KonteraCheck guy is a tech trying to see what was causing the problem for firefox users... I am unbanning him. ![]() EDIT // Plese forgive any wierd posts you see KonteraCheck do.. once I get back in contact with him I will reenable the code that was troubling FireFix users so he can test... I am not mad at anyone... more proud and amused than anything else. You guys are hardcore! I didn't know they would be registering an aco**** to test or I would have warned you all in advance. ![]() | ||

Reviving old threads for no clear reason and posting non-sense in them. Would've been nice if he'd have done a "testing for firefox issues" instead of adsadasdasd.
