Default DUI and Speeding result in loss of life

Quote:
VIRGINIA BEACH — Michael Jarmon found out Saturday he was the only 10th-grader chosen for the Cox High School junior varsity basketball team.
The same day, his big brother Alonzo, a senior at Cox, played the lead role in the school’s production of “Dracula.”
The popular students and a 10-year-old cousin died early Sunday morning after the car Alonzo was driving collided with a pickup truck, ran off Great Neck Road and hit a tree.
The driver of the pickup, 21-year-old Daniel R. Sieg of the 2400 block of Bullock Trail, was not injured. Police charged him with driving under the influence, and he is being held at the Virginia Beach jail.

VIRGINIA BEACH — An 18-year-old Cox High School senior who was killed in a car crash early Sunday did not have a driver’s license when he cut off a pickup on Great Neck Road, police said Monday.
Police said the car and truck were speeding and the pickup driver was drunk. Three people were killed in the wreck.
“Because of the dynamics of the crash, it is hard to say who was at fault,” police spokeswoman Rene Ball said. “Everyone had some responsibility in this crash.”
On Monday, those who knew the three victims – the car’s driver, Sir Alonzo Jarmon, 18; his brother Michael Jarmon, 16, and their cousin Shaqwane Williams, 10 – focused on loss, not blame.
In the Cox library, a student Monday morning led prayers for about 150 people who knew the Jarmon brothers.
Alonzo “was the class celebrity,” said Jade Jackson, 17, who was on the school step team with Alonzo. “Ask anyone.”

I didn't know them, but a few of my friends did. Please hand the keys over next time you drink, and remember, speeding only leads to bad things. Take your time when going somewhere, life's to short to be in a rush.

If I have to hear about one more g-damn drunk driver killing someone I am going nucking futs....

(not directed at your post, I just see this crap too often)

One almost, thank god, killed my sis and my mother, and did kill the two girls that were with him. He was so drunk that they could not give him anything at the hospital for a day....and this was at around 1pm....

Well on the bright side he is not spending 35-life in a wheel chair, in a federal 'pound me in the a@@' prison......
