I'm glad they changed their minds about that. I'll prolly end up upgrading once it comes out.

That is great news Marc to all of us that have been using the Beta Version of Vista RC2, a good question to ask now when Vista finally does comes out which version would everyone want to buy, I know the Vista Beta RC2 version i have been using says the Ultimate version so as for me i will probably buy and go with the Ultimate Version, How about everyone else what version of Vista would you buy when it is release ???

Im useing RC1.........Whare can I get RC2? And i most likely get the Ultimate as well.

It was a download that someone had posted here let me see if i can find it unless someone knows who it was, you download it then you convert it from the ISO file to disc.

I tried the 1st Beta. I really liked it but the Drivers and Game play
just weren't there yet. I may buy it when it comes out. But I probably
won't put it on all my PC's until after their 1st Service Pack :-)

I'll go with the Vista Basic Edition unless someone can justify the extra $100 for Vista Home Premium for me, as of right now I don't know enough about the differences between the two.

Don't bother looking for the thread, It was a limited public release.
If you don't already have it you'll have to get it from someone who does.
The RTM is scheduled for Nov. 30, maybe they'll do a public release on it as well.

You are correct Marc i forgot it was for a limited time for the public i am glad i made a few extra copies for myself as backups. Buy the way Marc what version did you get when you loaded RC2.

Sorry HemiCuda1970 like Marc said if you know someone that lives next to you or close by you can get one , if not you have to wait till it is comes out with the final release.

32bit I beleive it was build 5700, it's been awhile since I've messed with though.

You said that right, they certainly would have lost a lot of $$$. I would be damned before I bought a new copy every other time I replaced a mobo or HDD. Which I happen to do quite often.

Marc, Sorry I should have explained myself a little better mine is Vista Beta RC2 build 5744 32bit Ultimate Edition, i was wondering when you had loaded it if it said Ultimate Edition or Home Edition,
