Default Windows7 Will Be Affordable!

M$ released thier pricing schemes for Windows7

Upgrade Prices (for thoes of you who want to upgrade to a newer version of windows 7)

  • Windows 7 Starter to Windows 7 Home Premium: $79.99
  • Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Professional: $89.99
  • Windows 7 Home Premium to Windows 7 Ultimate: $139.99
when you upgrade, you just put in a new key, a reinstall is not necessary!

Now here is the kicker.

Windows 7 Family pack = 150$ and it has 3 licenses!!!

The problem is that the Family Pack is upgrades to HP.

So I can't upgrade the Phenom II (Vista Ultimate) or Phenom (Vista Home Basic)... but I can upgrade my Celeron-M 900, no-Aero netbook (XP Home) or possibly the pile of parts which if I sat down and assembled them would be a Socket 939 4600+ (honestly, should resell them) (Win2000)
